The Weekend Update

Got a lot done on the house this weekend.

• Replaced the shower valve and head in the hall bath


• Cut the grass and edged the lawn for the first time


• Installed a new spigot in the back yard


• Ran soaker hose around half the house


• Sprayed around the perimeter of the house for insects


• Adjusted the garage door so it opens and closes properly


• Replaced the aerator on the sink in the wet bar

I think that's everything. Terri also unpacked a lot of stuff and got stuff put away.

Dee was being a real pill last night. She didn't want to eat, she didn't want to play, she didn't want to sit. She just wanted to fuss.

Playing Catch-up

Last week Dee took her first steps. She's still very wobbly and not actually going anywhere yet, but it's a start.

Got the last of our crap out of the old house and made two hauls to the dump. There was a couple of fixes I was going to do the the old house but then I thought, "screw it."

I've got as huge list of stuff to do at the new house. I've started by installing my work benches in the garage. I've got one of the three set up.

Once we get things a little more settled we'll be having a house warming party.
